Croatia’s Adriatic coastline is lined with towns and villages that each tell their own story. Some are ancient, founded by Greeks or Romans, with UNESCO listed old towns and centuries of history still visible in the stone. Others are relaxed seaside villages, known for their beaches, camping, and easy access to bigger cities nearby.

Every town featured here, I have visited and filmed. You will find information about beaches, local history, day trips, and practical things like transport and where to stay. Whether you are looking for a lively town or a quiet spot along the coast, the Croatian coastline has something for everyone.

Each article also comes with a YouTube video, so you can see the town before you decide to visit. I live in Split and have spent over 20 years exploring the Croatian coast, and I keep filming more towns as I go. There is always another stretch of coastline worth discovering.
