I have watched your video regarding Split, Split airport and Krka NP, it helps me having a more detailed picture of those place. I am coming to Croatia with my 3 friends in Oct. We also want to go Izvor Cetine (Eye of the Earth) as I found it very amazing.
We are 4 women, we don’t drive and there is no tour operator go to there. Do you know how can we go there after visit Krka ?
Many thanks for your advice.
Joyce from Hong Kong
without a car, that i almost impossiple i think, there is probably local buses which could take you some of the way, but you will probably have to travel to Knin first. The main road is about 6 or 7 km from Izvor Cetine, so even if you could find a bus, you would still have to walk the last part.
Taxi is one option, but it is going to be quite expensive from Krka, is almost 70 km from Izvor Cetine.
Hi Morten. Just back from 4 day trip to Split. A quick message to say thank you!! Watching your videos before our trip really helped with our plans and activities. From arriving at airport taking the shuttle bus, booking boats for a day trip to Hvar and exploring Marjan park along with the beaches, your information in videos allowed us to make the most of our time. Thank you so much.
Hello Morten,
Really enjoy the videos and looking forward to more content in weeks ahead as we prepare for our first trip to Croatia from Canada!
Keep up the good work!
Trevor

Hi Morten,
Me and my friends are planning on coming to Split soon and were wondering if its best to book island ferry trips online or in person at the port. Which would be cheaper? Love your videos!
Hi Morten…..just interested to know here with a question please. Does the small foot passenger ferry still run from Orebic to Korcula? I’ve tried looking on Google but I can’t see any mention. We did this journey on a private day trip about 14 years ago.
Hello Morten
We are looking at coming to Pula, Poreč, Rovinj in 2027 and after looking at your video and reading your travel advise we were wondering without a car which town would be the best place to base ourselves for doing day trips that you mentioned? as we would like to go into the hill towns that you suggested as well.
Plus you mentioned that you can get transport from Pula airport to Poreč and Rovinj but is it a local bus service or shuttle or taxi?
thank you
Matthew
I think you should have same day trip options from Porec and Rovinj and as they are (In my opnion) the two most beatiful cities on Istria, I would pick one of them.
As for the shuttle, they have stopped operating the shuttle bus to Porec and Rovinj, so you have the following options
Most convinient, Uber or private transfer
Cheapest, shuttle bus to Pula Bus Station and then catch a bus to Porec / Rovinj from there

Hi Delia,
You can do both, if you want to make sure to have ticket for a specific departure buying online a day before is a good idea.
If you buy at the port or directly at the website of the ferry company, the price is the same, if you use a third party platform prices are higher.
Have a good trip to Split.

Hi Margaret,
Yes there is still a small boat between the old town and Orebic, it is operated by G&V line https://gv-zadar.hr/linija/drzavna-brodska-linija-br-614-orebic-peljesac-korcula-i-obratno/
