Morten Smalby

My Croatian journey began over 20 years ago, in 2004, when I moved here and fell in love with the landscapes, culture, and people. After a long career as an entrepreneur, I decided to shift gears in 2024 and pursue my passion for travel and storytelling. Armed with my GoPros, I’m setting out to do what I once did between 2005 and 2012—travel across Croatia and its neighboring countries. Back then, I captured photos and wrote about the places I visited. This time, I’ll go even further—sharing stories, offering my best travel tips, and, most importantly, creating videos that truly bring these destinations to life. My YouTube channel is dedicated to showcasing Croatia’s and the neighboring countries’ unique charm. This country isn’t just a tourist destination—it’s an incredible place to live and thrive.
