In this short video, I’ll introduce you to the Zadar bus station. The Zadar Bus Terminal serves as the primary hub for international and domestic intercity bus routes to and from Zadar, and the hub for regional and city buses in and around Zadar..
Location and Facilities
The bus station is located 1.5 km southeast of the Old Town at the intersection of Ul. Ante Starčevića and Ul. kralja Tvrtka.
The train station is 100 meters from the bus station, but currently, no trains are operating from Zadar.
The bus stations and the old town are connected with city bus lines No. 2 and 4, both stopping in front of the bus station (Ul. Ante Starčevića).
Tip: Use the Zadar Smart City App to get cheaper public transportation in Zadar.

Facilities
The Zadar bus terminal is fairly big, it has 35 numbered platforms. The platform numbers from 1 to 10 are usually where international and domestic intercity buses can be found. The higher platform numbers are mainly for regional buses.
At the bus station, you can find an Arriva, Knezevic, and Antoniotours ticket office, as well as the main ticket office operated by Liburnija, which has a display showing the platform No. of upcoming departures. Additionally, there are a few coffee bars and fast food places, a toilet (0.40€, cash), Luggage storage, and a kiosk.
In the building behind the station, you have a Konzum Supermarket, a McDonald’s, and across the road, the Capitol shopping center.
Taxis are located on the road next to the bus station (Ul. kralja Tvrtka), which is also where Taxi–Apps services have a pick-up location.

Popular destinations from Zadar
Domestic
From Zadar bus terminal, you have buses to most parts of Croatia. The most popular domestic Intercity destinations are Zagreb, Split, Krka National Park, and Plitvice Lakes. Nearby destinations like Biograd, Sukošan, Petrčane, and Vir are of course also very popular, especially among locals travelling.

Zadar has only a few direct international bus routes, and most of them run exclusively during the summer. If you’re traveling at that time, you can take a direct bus to cities like Kraków, Vienna, Budapest, or Zurich.
