In this brief video, I’ll take you on a tour of the Split bus station. The Split Bus Terminal serves as the primary hub for international as well as domestic intercity bus routes to and from Split.
Location and Facilities
The bus station is located on the east side of the port, just 500 meters from the Old Town and the Palace in Split. The official address is Obala Kneza Domagoja 12, 21000, Split.
The train station is 50 meters from the bus station, and the terminal building of the ferry port is 100 meters away.

Facilities
The split bus terminal is small, it has only 6 platform Nos. with a total of 21 gates. At the bus station, you can find a ticket office and waiting room, which has a display showing platform No. of upcoming departures. Additionally, there are a few coffee bars, a toilet (1€, cash), Luggage storage, a kiosk, and a gaming center.
At the end of the bus station, there is a city bus stop and a NextBike station.
Taxis are located on the road in front of the train station, which is also where Taxi–App services have a pick-up location.
Nearby, there are several coffee bars and food places, a DM store, a postal office, and other shops.

Popular destinations from Split
Domestic
From Split’s bus terminal, you have buses to most parts of Croatia; the most popular domestic destinations are Dubrovnik, Zagreb, Zadar, Krka National Park, and Plitvice Lakes. Nearby destinations like Omis, Trogir, Makaska, Knin and Sinj are of course also also very popular, especially among locals travelling.
International
The most popular international departures from Split Bus Station are Mostar and Sarajevo, which are connected year round, but also seasonal lines to Germany, Austria, Montenegro, Serbia and Poland have a high amount of passengers.

Nearby Split Bus Terminal
As mentioned above, the Train station can be seen from the bus station, and Split’s ferry port is just across the road. On a hot summer day, you can kill the waiting time with a swim at Bacvice beach which is only 500 metres away. The old town and the Diocletian Palace can be seen from the bus station, so what ever you need you can find it close by.

Hi Morten,
If I want to go to Krka NP from Split by bus, will the bus stop in front of krka NP or this bus will end in Skradin ?
Joyce
Hi Joyce,
the bus from Split will stop in Skradin about 200 metres from the national park ticket office, In October you still have boat from Skradin to the Park Entrance in Skradinski Buk.
You can check out my Video where I did the trip with the boat her
